Description
This model is now 37 years old. This is the first series, developing 200 horsepower at 6750 rpm. This power allowed the car, weighing only 1200 kg, to reach a maximum speed of 235 km/h, with 0 to 100 km/h in less than 7 seconds. The 5-speed manual gearbox is the famous DogLeg with reverse first gear (lower) and a 25% limited slip differential.
This vehicle is a real “barn find”. Produced for Belgium, it was stored dry for more than 15 years. We took all the necessary care to restore his condition. The ignition has been completely renewed, including cables, spark plugs, distributor head and coil. A new electric fan and engine silent blocks were also installed. The front axle has been completely revised. The silent blocks, wishbones, ball joints, bellows, brake discs and pads were replaced, and new tires were installed, ensuring optimal driving precision. The car is equipped with 15-inch BBS rims. Changes of filters, fluids and connecting rod bearings for a safe restart.
The interior has been completely restored with period fabric, making it immaculate, as if it had just left the factory. The sunroof and manually operated windows add an authentic nostalgic touch, recalling the classic features of cars from that era.
